Gold Sensors contain unfunctionalized gold nanoparticles for applications where direct sample immobilization onto gold is desired, or for creation of a custom functional chemistry. If wanting to work with a standard chemistry functionalization (eg Carboxyl, NTA, etc.) it is highly recommended to use Nicoya's optimized pre-functionalized sensors. Sensors are provided in a package of 10.
It is recommended to use with PEG Blockers to reduce non-specific binding of analyte samples to exposed gold surface sites.
