Nicoya's NTA surfaces have been optimized to reduce non-specific binding and produce reliable and accurate binding kinetics when using OpenSPR. Nicoya's unique nanotechnology based sensors are more than 10X less expensive than existing gold chips used in other surface plasmon resonance instruments.
OpenSPR NTA Sensor Chips are perfect for immobilizing his-tagged ligands (proteins, antibodies, and more). They come pre-coated with NTA so just charge the surface with NiCl2 and within minutes, your ligand is immobilized. You can easily regenerate the sensor chip down to the NTA surface with an injection of EDTA or imidazole, making it ready for a new ligand.
NTA Sensor Chips should be ordered with an NTA Reagent Kit, which now includes EDTA to clean the sensor surface in addition to NiCl2 for activation and imidazole for regeneration.
